Nothing-Man #7 is a comic written and drawn by John A. Rhodes, with some inks by Jay Sloan with colors by Marcus Odoms. The conflict that has been brewing for six issues comes to a head and allegiances are solidified as this massive battle begins. This issue is full of revelations, fights, and anger. There isn’t really a lead character here as the focus shifts frequently and we end up seeing just about every significant person introduced in this universe. The people that get a bit more focus than others are Nothing-Man/Zane/Hyperious, Diana, and Firecracker. The first half of the plot is centered on the heroes getting assembled and prepared while the latter is pretty much all violence. This story takes place in Paradise City which looks like a warzone with crumbling infrastructure. This comic has that feeling of overwhelming dread and incoming doom. The violence here is bloody and heavy but not gory. I wouldn’t say this comic is particularly sexy but there is an overabundance of hard nipples both covered and uncovered here. The pacing here is pretty steady but it speeds up a bit towards the end. As stated earlier there is a feeling of finality and the characters act stressed so the intensity here is pretty high. The back-and-forth between the characters has been one of the hallmarks of this series and it does not falter here. Dialogue goes from humorous to daunting pretty fast and tends to be apt for the situation. Absolutely no wordy pages here. This is the penultimate issue for this series and it is very exciting and a bit somber to see this story near its end.
The art here is very detailed with some well done shading and pages overflowing with things to look at. We get a decent range of colors but this story takes place at night which gives most of it a darker tone. The scenery is mostly dilapidated buildings and some of the panels that take place higher up in the sky have the moon and the stars glowing. The main location is the inner city in various buildings or just out in the open. The expression level here is slightly above-average with the characters more in tune with their feelings giving us a bit more. The faces here are drawn with a good amount of detail which helps these looks get across. There is a face sameness problem here but the hair, lip, and eye colors are varied so you shouldn’t confuse characters. There are tons of effects here and they are bright and stand out in every scene. There are less violent scenes here and more short violent moments scattered throughout. These are bloody with heavy hits and various blasts. Just about every woman here is wearing a sexy outfit and most have their nipples(hard) out at some point.

R. Lots of titties out.
