All Eyes On Ashley is a comic is a comic written by Jon Del Arroz with art by Mike S. Miller and colors by Levy Ramirez. A man infatuated with his coworker purchases an online course to become the man of her dreams. This is a comedic comic with elements of romance and parody. The leading man is Spencer Taylor, he is a nerdy-looking man who works in an office and has a crush on his coworker Ashley. Ashley is an attractive woman who works in compliance and is the object of affection for many men. Spencer has a friend in the office named Elliot who assists him in his attempts to woo Ashley. The story begins with the news that Ashley has recently broken up with her boyfriend. Spencer doesn’t have the confidence to ask her out but Elliot shows him a way to change that. The theme here is “guy tries to change himself to get the girl” which isn’t out of place in this genre. The violence here is all physical with no blood or gore. The tone is lighthearted and things move at a steady pace and never get too intense. The dialogue is mainly conversational with the occasional narration from Spencer’s thoughts. There aren’t any word-heavy pages here. This is a comic about a man’s attempts to change himself to get the girl and the place that this journey takes him.
The art here is drawn in a smooth and detailed modern style with a subtle but strong focus on shading. The coloring here is realistic with a wide range. We get few shots of trees and grass but that’s about it for scenery as this primarily takes place in and around buildings. Though this story starts in an office it’ll take us all over from peoples’ homes to random streets. The backgrounds don’t usually show the scene, it tends to be a color gradient with or without action lines. The expression level here is high as these characters can get a bit animated. The range consists of anger, happiness, and sadness with a bunch of smugness. The faces here are detailed with a focus on the eyes and teeth and every emotion comes across clear. Spencer looks more cartoonish than the rest of the cast. The violence here is all physical with no blood or gore. The action scenes are of varying length but they flow well. Ashley tends to be dressed sexily in every scene she’s in, even in the office.
