I Summoned a Demon and She’s Kinda My Type Spring Special 2025 is a comic written by Chris Moses with art by Lucas Romero. Central City’s water has been tampered with resulting in everyone becoming horny. This is a supernatural comic with horny humor, magical violence, and many erotic moments. The main man here is Hajime, he is a college dropout who summoned Succi a while back and ever since then he’s been helping her collect her various parts which are all over town. He has a crush on his childhood best friend Tonya. Succi is the demon in question and she is an aggressive short-tempered person who constantly teases Hajime about sex. Tonya is a college student who is best friends with Hajime and she assists him in searching for Succi’s missing pieces. This story begins at Hajime’s home where he is helping Tonya paint Easter eggs. This task is interrupted by the loud sounds of Hajime’s mother and stepfather doing adult activities in the next room. Annoyed, Hajime looks out of his window and sees that the street is filled with nude people fornicating. This story has a few hard-hits and a bit of blood but nothing beyond that. The pacing is a bit faster than average and it has a sort of supernatural sex comedy tone. There some violently intense moments. The dialogue is conversational with a lot of back-and-forth and rare narration from Hajime. There are no word-heavy pages here. This is a humorous issue that puts these characters in a strange situation that allows us learn a bit more about them.
The art here is drawn in a smoothly detailed cartoonish modern style. The color palette is decently wide with nice assortment on each page. Besides a singular tree and a quick panel of a rocky shoreline there isn’t any natural scenery. There are two main locations here: Hajime’s home which looks to be an apartment and a wastewater treatment plant. The backgrounds show gradient and patterned colors more often then they show the immediate surroundings. The expression level here is very high as these characters are constantly reacting and hide nothing. Some of the emotions shown include: shock, confusion, embarrassment, anger, happiness, and more sensual feelings. The faces have a decent to above-average amount of detail but they can get animated due to the cartoonish so most if not all expressions come across clearly. The mystical tend to have a pink-purplish glow though sometimes it’ll be a light blue or green. The only weapon used is a knife and there is some physicality but outside of the light blood there isn’t anything heavy. The action comes in small usually one-page bursts with a smooth flow due to the high-panel count. All the women here are very curvy with large breasts and butts. They also all wear revealing, if any, clothes.
