I Summoned a Demon and She’s Kinda My Type Valentine’s Special 2026 is a comic written by Chris Moses with art by Lucas Romero. Hajime and Tonya are forced into a game by Love and Lust. This is a supernatural comic that is very horny, full of laughs, and has more than a few pop culture references. The main man is Hajime, he is a college dropout and artist who has been forced to help the demon he summoned on a whim find her missing body parts within a year or he dies. Succi is the demon in question and she is a vulgar, hot-tempered, and petty individual who likes to bother people and generally cause chaos. Tonya has been Hajime’s best friend since childhood and she finds this entire situation fun and exciting. This story begins with Hajime and Tonya playing DDR at the local arcade. Tonya wins again and after some awkward closeness between the pair they meet back up with Succi just in time to see her catfish someone. This takes place in a world where a large number of supernatural myths, creatures, and folklore are true. Violence here can be hard-hitting but there isn’t any blood or gore. This moves at a faster than average pace and it has the tone of an out-of-the-ordinary comedic episode of a cartoon. This is much more dramatic than violent but it isn’t too intense. The dialogue is very conversational with plenty of humor and pettiness. There aren’t any word-heavy pages here. This is a fun and exciting issue that shows just how close these best friends actually are, and how close they could be.
The art here is a drawn in a smoothly detailed semi-cartoonish style with decent lighting and shading. This color palette is very purple, pink, and red with generally realistic tones outside of that. Besides the star-filled blackness of outer space there isn’t any natural scenery here. There are only two main locations here: the local arcade called “The Cade” and the “Love Game” set which has a number of different areas including an obstacle course. Backgrounds here are usually a solid or gradient color with optional action lines. The expression level here is very high as these characters strongly react to everything. Emotions go from shock and confusion to happiness and joy with some anger and sadness mixed in. Faces have a decent to average level of detail and they can get animated which leads to just about every expression being clear and obvious. Violence here is physical and can look a bit painful but there isn’t any blood or gore. There are a few smaller action bits rather than one long scene but they have a straightforward flow. All of the women here are large-breasted and curvy with most of them wearing revealing clothing. There are also many lewd/sexy angles.
