Big Tiddie Goth Girlfriends on the Moon #3 is a comic with story and art by Sirk and flats by David Davis. These Goth Girlfriends continue their infiltration of these space pirates’ hideout in search of their ship. This is a fun sci-fi tale filled with references and characters with big personalities. Our two girlfriends in question are Kali and Grimm, Kali has the blue streak of hair and is angrier and more impulsive then the redhead Grimm, who attempts to be the voice of reason and thinks before she leaps. The leader of this band of lady pirates is Esme, a blue-skinned alien who seems to be a bit unhinged. The plot is pretty simple with the ladies attempting to get their ship back while also avoiding the pirate crew. There are slight revelations, some backstory, and plenty of humor. The action here isn’t bloody or gory but it does look painful. The tone is a bit serious as these Goths are in danger but things are kept lighthearted for the most part. There are some intense moments here but there are funny ones as well. The dialogue is different depending on the character but it is all understandable and angry. There are at least a couple word-heavy pages. This is an issue as exciting as the last that will have you chuckling and on the edge of your seat; you’ll be anticipating the next installment with baited breath.
The art style here seems to have been aimed with realism and covered in a blanket of cartoonishness. This makes the silly moments sillier and keeps the serious moments tense. The coloring here is consistent with your average space story with a lot of bright and eye-catching colors. Most of the scenery is metal walls with the occasional window showcasing stars in the sky. The locations are either similar-looking hallways of the ship or a room that has a pool of lava, which raises some other questions. The panel backgrounds more often than not contain scenery parts and when they don’t the color will usually fit the location. The expression level here is high in spite of the usually blank-faced Grimm because Kali can’t hide her emotions at all. From anger to sadness, determination to defeat, Kali and Esme are going head-to-head for the most emotional. Though these faces have a slight cartoony look to them they are still very malleable so every expression is clear. Laser guns and swords are present and accounted for. The action here has some rough shots but nothing bloody or gory. The scenes flow well and are scattered throughout this issue. The outfits here are revealing and just about every woman has large breasts.
