Minxx Cyberpunk Season 2 is a comic published by Be Amazed Studios. Well this review is gonna be shorter than the last one because this story is more straightforward. We have a fight between Minxx and her doppelganger, things happen, then the story turns into Prison Break. There isn’t much progress done concerning the overall plot, this is more like a character builder for our main girl. In spite of this it’s still good, we have a varied cast of jailbirds with different looks and alignment, I just wish we spent a bit more time in this environment. Most of the words seen are in Minxx’s head as she goes through some heavy introspection. The words that are said aloud are realistic and snappy.
Our comic starts where the last one left off in the Neon District, which looks like it was drenched in cyberpunk. The way the bright colors are used to make the page shine warms my heart. But then we hit the prison planet and the colors are all but sucked through a black hole of dull. This works because these types of institutions aren’t known for happiness. The interior of this prison looks like it was hewn from stone. Only colors are gray and orange. We do get to see a bunch of different aliens, some without noses, some with green skin, and some with red skin. Many faces are display showing quite a bit of emotions, this helps us tell the crazy ones from the less crazy ones.
