Perfect 10 #3 is a comic created and written by Dave Brink with pencils and inks by Pow Rodrix and colors by Daniel Rodrigues. The synthoid assassin Ten must find her way out of enemy territory after being captured. This is a comic that is equal parts excitement and arguments as various characters attempt to reconcile their motivations to each other. Our leading lady is a woman named Ten, a synthoid(basically a lab-made human being) who is attempting to fight the stigma on her kind and be a force for good. She has gloves with the ability to make certain weapons appear in her hands instantly. She is surrounded by a large amount of super folk on both sides. The plot picks up right where the last issue left off and we see Ten in the captivity of the Prime Syndicate. They ponder whether or not she’s more useful dead or alive. Throughout this story we’ll get perspectives from both sides of this conflict and meet a bunch of new characters. This is full of bloody, gory action with a large number of superpowers on display. You will see some nastiness. The pace here is slow as there are a number of wordy pages here that cause lulls in the story. Things here get very intense both philosophically and life-threateningly. The dialogue might get a bit difficult to understand due to concepts not language. Overall this is a thought-provoking and exciting third issue that’ll keep you interested throughout.
The art here is drawn in a 90’s comic style but with some of the smoothness and shine of modern comics. There are a number of and a wide range of colors used here and the various palettes add something to the characters and areas. Speaking of areas, this comic takes place in either the Prime Citadel or the Power Tower. The Prime Citadel is an ornate palace with chandeliers, many rooms, and gold trim everywhere. The Power Tower is a clean cut building that looks like an office or a police station on the inside. When it comes to the expressiveness of this comic I will say that quite a few characters appear stoic or numb so they really don’t emote at all. The rest of the cast tend to express themselves at a slightly above-average rate though we’ll really only see anger and devilish grins. We’ll see the normal superhero bodies but this comic does have some more unique ones. There are quite a few weapons here from an energy hammer to bees to just regular firearms. The action scenes tend to come in short bursts and are very violent. They can get hard to watch at some points as there is gore and mutilation. Nearly every character with a conventional body is wearing something skintight. Every woman in this comic has large breasts and all but maybe one is built like a model; a good amount of them wear revealing clothes. Most of the male characters are ripped or bulging with muscles.
