Prey for the Sinner #6 is a comic written by Marat Mychaels & Dolan Waddick with art Dietrich Smith and colors by Sean Lee. Synthia meets and fights foes from her past. This is a science fiction comic about vengeance with plenty of violence. The leading lady for this tale is Synthia, she is a former prison psychiatrist who is seeking revenge on some of her former inmates using her relatively new abilities. Her quest has taken her to strange and familiar places. The story picks up right where the last one left off with Synthia facing off with Graxxx. As they begin to fight another battle begins between a formerly masked man and the woman named Tae Amara. The violence here is mostly physical with gruesome attacks but no blood or gore. The pacing is overall faster than normal and you may get confused. The tone is action-heavy with a high intensity throughout. The dialogue is conversational with mid-battle quips and narration of Synthia’s thoughts. There are no word-heavy pages here. This is a combat-heavy issue that provides us with some revelations and gives us something to look forward too.
The art here is drawn in a smoothly detailed modern style with good lighting. The color range here mainly consists of gray and silver with eye-catching splashes of purple and neon green. This takes place entirely in a lab/warehouse with broken windows, hanging wires, and numerous panels. The backgrounds tend to show the surroundings with some action-line filled gradients during violent scenes. The expression level here is a bit below-average as a hard look is the main look for these characters. The most common emotion is anger with rage and fear as well. The faces have a good amount of detail and show the different looks clearly. The violence here is physical and involves bladed weapons and whips. There are some rough attacks but no blood or gore. The sole action scene is very long with a break in the middle. There are a decent amount of panels and the flow is good.
