Saving the World #7 is a comic created by Tonic Mole. Picking up where the last issue left off, we find our heroes facing foes both real and imagined. After having her mind taken over by a strange creature Nora is attempting to fight a very reluctant Kierra. This issue is full of intriguing characters besides our two main ladies. We have Hobo-Girl, Unicorn Man(not a unicorn), and Gypsy, and some foes that’ll cause you to overflow with questions. The plot here is pretty simple; they are just trying to defeat this monster lady. But let me tell you, this issue gets heavy. This is a common theme for this series, comedy and lighthearted bits for the majority and then BAM right in the feels. Sort of like the TV show Scrubs. Oh wait, that might be too old for yall…uh sorta like Adventure Time? I don’t know. But you’ll have an enjoyable story with some good action scenes and funny dialogue. This never gets too wordy either; the balance here is practically perfect. This is the finale to a storyline that started last issue and it comes to a satisfying conclusion. And at the end of this comic there is a Lilly & Wepwawet(who we haven’t seen since Saving The World #5) story that looks to be very crucial moving forward.
This comic has a unique art style that isn’t as realistic looking as your average publication but don’t let that deter you, this is very nice to look at. And this is a black-and-white comic, so the smaller details stand out more. The majority of this story takes place inside the sewer so expect to see tunnels and hopefully clean but definitely not unidentified liquid. One of this series’ hallmarks is the expressive of the characters in general and that is still the case here. Faces are drawn with so much detail that every emotion felt is splayed across the face and sometimes spreads to the rest of the body. Speaking of bodies we do get some nice muscle definition and prominent teeth. There is some light face sameness but nothing out of hand. Some of the less-than-human creatures look both interesting and off-putting. You are in for a visual treat and/or opposite of a treat. The main outfit for the lady characters is a croptop and a skirt or pants, while the males are very lightly clothed. All the action here flows well and most of the combat is hand-to-hand. Visually these characters are a bit oversexualized because the women where outfits that are not very functional for their line of work but in the world of the comic they aren’t. You will see nipples through clothes.

“What would this comic’s film rating be?”
I’m torn between PG-13 and R. This really aint for kids.
